The Ultimate Source for Free Books
We are very thankful for your support. All our books are free and we accept all kinds of donations including books for all ages, DVDs, vinyl records, and magazines. We accept cash and online donations and all funds raised go towards buying new books and expanding our library. Please tell everyone you know who loves books.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Ruth Mini Mobile Library provides free books for people of all ages across San Antonio. We understand that families, students, and avid readers cannot always afford to buy books regularly. The Ruth Mini Mobile Library has Little Free Library crates at various business locations to provide a portal of books to the community.
When our library goes mobile, we set up a table, tent, bookshelves, and a few hundred books and allow people to take as many books as they want. Our mobile library is run by volunteers and can only function with your donations and support.
Our vision is to make books and libraries more accessible to those who live in book deserts.
Disclaimer: We are not a company or a registered non-profit organization. This is a community service project run by two volunteers who provide these services free of charge. We rely solely on donations to keep this library running. We are not open 24/7. Our business hours are mostly on the weekends. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are trying our best with the resources we currently have. Book requests could take up to 1 year to fill, and can only be filled upon availability. Archive project requests placed after 2020 will be placed on a waiting list.
